Veganuary 🌱

I have suffered with IBS type symptoms all my life and after speaking to my doctor and finally getting it confirmed that it is IBS, I decided to make some serious changes with my diet. Around the middle of November I started looking more and more in to vegan & plant based foods. 🌱

After doing some research and looking around I decided to eat more vegan/plant based food and see if it helped with my IBS. After a few days I immediately saw the difference. I hardly ever had a “bad tummy” and no severe tummy pains either. My skin seemed to clear up over night and within the space of a few weeks I lost a considerable amount of weight. 💪🥳🤩

I signed up for Veganuary around the end of December, Veganuary is where you go vegan for the whole month of January. You get daily emails with tips and tricks to help you transition into your new vegan life. 🌱🥰💕

If you want to sign up for Veganuary too just look it up on Google and it will come up, click on the site and it will ask you for your email address etc. It’s FREE too sign up. ☺️

There are also some really interesting documentaries on Netflix (just type in vegan to your Netflix search bar) which I would highly recommend watching (“What the Health” is my favourite) 🖥🐮🐷🐔🐣🥰🌱

Let me know if any of you are vegan or interested in giving Veganuary a go, you won’t need to wait long till you see the difference in your body. Keep me updated with how it is all going. 🥰

Evaluating the past year and looking forward to the new year ahead 🥰

Another year gone, a new one is already here. Where did 2018 go? It disappeared so quickly. 🤔

2018 was an amazing year, to name a few I got a wonderful job 👩‍💻went on holiday with my boyfriend 🏕 and we started building our home 🏡 these were just a few of the wonderful memories of 2018.

2018 was also the year I finally got some answers about my health and was able to make a fresh start on getting on track with my health. 👍

I’m looking forward to seeing what 2019 will bring. 🤩🥳🥰 365 new opportunities. 🥰🥳🤩❤️

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year 🤩🥰😘

Castle Combe Rally Day – Wet weekend

Once again Castle Combe opened it’s gates and allowed the public to have a wander round and for the car enthusiasts to put their prides and joy on full display for the public.

Sadly this years turn out was not as good as last years but this was due to the weather. It’s poured down with rain all day and it was a big shame because the amount of people who usually go is huge amount. But still those of us who braved the weather enjoyed what we could and had a good wander round at all the different cars that were on display and watched the rally. One contestant loved the rain as it helped him drift round the corner.

When walking around the different tents that were selling all sorts of things for different vehicles I got given 2 goodie bags which held some nice bits for my car ☺️

We didn’t stay as long as we usually would but we enjoyed the time we were there.

Day dreaming, manifesting & making travel plans – Life update 💕😍✈️🏝

First of all I would like to say sorry for being MIA for the last few Monday’s & Fridays. A lot has been going on some good and some bad.

Let’s get through the bad first, as you all know I suffer with horrific anxiety and lately it has been getting me down more than usual and it is affecting how I deal with everyday life. A friend of mine recommended a councillor and I booked an appointment to see her. I came out feeling lighter than when I went in and I felt a lot better about the fact that some of the things I had been feeling were confirmed to be normal thoughts & feelings and not as irrational as I thought they were. I am looking forward to going and seeing her again.

Before I went to see my councillor I met an incredible lady called Jessica and she has helped me change my mindset. Since meeting Jess I have been using Tarot & Affirmation cards every morning (you have probably seen me post them in the mornings on Instagram) and manifesting how I want my life to be. This has helped a huge amount and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

One of my best friends lives in North Carolina and we have been daydreaming and chatting about my boyfriend and I hopping on a plane and going to see them, we would only need to pay for flights so that makes the whole trip a lot easier to afford, so a plan has been set in motion for next October 2019. Mattie has said that North Carolina is simply stunning in the Fall time.

There are so many different places I want to visit and I have been daydreaming about visiting all of them recently.

Just need to put my saving plan into action and see how much I can save for the whole of next year and see how much I have to play with 🤑🤑🤑

Buddha necklace review

I was contacted on Instagram by Best Buddhism pics and they offered me a free necklace if I could do a review for them.

I jumped at the chance and sent off for my necklace. When I arrived I was so happy I put it on straight away!! 😍

The length of the chain means the necklace sits perfectly where you can see it all the time. The lotus Buddha itself is a perfect size!!

I love it and I will wear it a lot along with my chakra bracelet and other jewellery.

I have always loved Buddha and have a lot of statues, but not only my love for the statues but I also appreciate Buddhism and what it represents!!

Thank you to Best Buddhism pics for offering me the chance to do a review on this amazing necklace. I am over the moon with it!!

Venom Film review 😝💕☺️😁

The other night my boyfriend and I went to see Venom at Vue cinema, We had seen the trailer for this film quite a few times and it looked soooo good. We were very excited to see this film as we are big fans of Tom Hardy already.

After what seemed like forever and after watching all the adverts for the other films our film finally started.

All I can say about the film is that the trailer does NOT do it justice!!

The film is fantastic and there are so many hilarious moments in it that you can’t help but laugh, there are also a few twists and shocks in it that you won’t see coming.

You will come out of the cinema and want to go back and view it again. 😆 I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen.

Tom Hardy is incredible in this film and I would quite happily say this is his best role yet!!!!

There is so so much I want to say about this film but it would give too much away so all I will say is go and watch it for yourselves and you will not be disappointed I can assure you of that!!!!!

When you go and see the film please let me know what you thought of it. 😁😁

My Beautiful Struggle by Jordan Bone 💕

“A girl with her whole life ahead of her, a terrible accident, an inspiring story of triumph over trauma”

Aged just 15 years old Jordan was a happy go lucky girl, having fun with her friends and loving life, but in one fateful moment a car accident that left Jordan paralyzed from the chest down.

After hitting rock bottom and nearly giving up Jordan decides to take life head on.

She painstakingly re-learns how to apply her beloved make up, slowly re-building her self esteem.

Her body may have been broken but her spirit was not.

Follow Jordan’s story of how she over came immense challenges and to find the light and hope at the end of the tunnel. Jordan doesn’t just prove that she can re apply her make up she has taught millions of people that you can still do anything you want to do in life!!!

I have been watching Jordan’s make up videos for quite a while and when I heard her book was coming out I just couldn’t wait to read it. I cried so many times while I was reading this book, which was on the train when I was going to and from work.

If you wanna buy this book from Amazon it’s:

Stars: 10+/10

Book Review – Code to Zero by Ken Follett

This book reminded me of the first Jason Bourne film, it’s action packed and I found it hard to put down. It’s quite a big book and it took me 1 and a half days to read it. My boyfriend Ali told me to read this book and he isn’t into reading and he has read it so I knew it must be a good book. I’d give this book 10/10 it’s a very addictive read.

Code to zero follows Luke Lucas as he begins to get his memory back and discovers long kept secrets about his wife, best friend and the women he once loved more than life itself.

When a man wakes up lying on the floor of a railway station toilet with no memory of his name or how he came to be in the toilets, he convinces himself he’s a drunken down and out.

It’s only when a newspaper report about a satellite launch catches his eye that he begins to realise that all is not what it seems.

I would highly recommend this book as I was hooked from the first page. 🤓

FITM – Gemma Collins

Gemma Collins is best know for being on the hit tv series TOWIE (The only way is Essex)

Since Gemma left the show she has gone from strength to strength, Gemma has lost a lot of weight and has launched her own clothing brand with Gemma has had a few hosting gigs and also appeared in the highly anticipated season of Orange is the new Black.

Gemma has recently had a few set backs with on and off boyfriend James Arg Argent. After Arg continued to go out partying and disappearing and not telling Gemma where he was she grew tired of his shit. Arg and Gemma are at completely different stages in their lives, Gemma is a serious business woman and wants to be seen as one while Arg still wants to party hard and have fun. I am glad to hear that they are giving it another go and hope that James time in rehab helped him.

Gemma has been working really hard to build her brand and she wants to continue to do that. 30 year old Gemma also has plenty of big work things coming up.

At the start of 2018 Gemma decided she was going to kick off the year with a healthy new routine and working out, she even told friends she won’t be having meals out or afternoon tea for a long time.

I don’t know how much weight Gemma has lost but I think she looks incredible. You can see her confidence shinning through in all her Instagram photos.

I have recently began to read Gemma’s book and I am loving it. You see such a different side to people when you read their books about their lives and all the things they have gone through. It reminds you that even though they are in the spotlight everyday and are celebrities they are still human and go through the same things we do too.

I wish Gemma all the luck in the world!!! Just keep on being you Gemma. 💕😍😘

Book Review: Mouthy by Megan McKenna 🤩💕

We all think we know celebs because we watch them so much on tv and we judge that person by how they appear on the tv. This is unfair of us because as much as we think we know that person by how involved we become with their lives by watching them on tv in reality we don’t know them at all..not the real them anyway.

I think in all honesty Megan has been misunderstood and people who work with Megan liked that fact that she “kicked off” because it would increase the ratings of the show.

I have seen Megan on TOWIE and watched her famous meltdowns, at first I though wow this girl loses it quickly and then I decided to watch the full TOWIE episodes to find out why she was so upset and in all honesty she was in her right to lose her shit.

I had began to follow Megan on Instagram and had listened to a lot of her music, “High Heeled Shoes” is my absolute fave and if you haven’t listened to it yet seriously stop reading and listen to it and then come back to my blog.

When I found out that Megan had written a book I was really excited to get it, I downloaded it on to my kindle and was hooked after the first page. I was shocked about how much I learnt about Megan and after reading the first few chapters I could feel my view of her changing and I could relate to her in a lot of ways and when I finally finished her book I was really sad because I had enjoyed reading it so much I didn’t really want it to end. I hope Megan writes another book as I will be there in line waiting with quite a lot of other men and women who enjoyed her book too.

I think Megan has worked really hard to get where she is today and like all of us has gone through a lot of ups and downs before she reached the time in her life where she is finally happy with the way things are going.

I would highly recommend reading this book, it will immediately change your view of Megan and you will see her in a totally different light.

I wish Megan every happiness for her future and her music career.
